Village house in Chateaudouble

In the idyllic medieval village Chateaudouble, of the beautiful Var region You will find our Provencal village house, which we rent out on weekly basis. The village is small and lies undisturbed on the edge of the gorges which carries its name after the village. Placed nearly 600 meter above sea level, lies the village with a beautiful view over the gorge and the mountains behind. The village is perfectly situated for trips in Var and Alpes Maritime. With only a kilometre to the main road between Draguignan and Comps You are close to all parts of Provence, and still the village is situated peacefully away from the main road, on the smaller road to Tourtour. The village is closed for cars other than the ones of the inhabitants which secures the peace and quietness of the village, though still continuing its quiet life, as it have done in centuries.
